Meet the team

As a native Buckeye, Dr. Mike earned his undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management, his Doctor of Dental Surgery, and his Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He graduated at the top of his dental school class and received the prestigious Veler Scholarship – awarded to only one individual per class based on academic excellence, character, and integrity.

Dr. Mike is dedicated to pursuing the latest dental techniques and technological advancements to ensure his patients receive the best solutions available. He currently owns three dental practices and is active in the Ohio Dental Association, where he has served in many leadership roles. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Pappas enjoys community activities, reading, running, playing basketball and golf, and spending time with his certified therapy dog – a golden retriever named Roscoe.

Dr. Schairbaum is originally from Sylvania, Ohio but has had a connection to Columbus her whole life. She has been attending Buckeye home games since she was 6 years old, and earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State University while also competing in varsity women’s rowing.

Dr. Schairbaum takes pride in getting to know her patients and finding the best plan to achieve their oral health goals. She has been practicing in Columbus since 2015, guided by her passion for making her patients as comfortable as possible.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Schairbaum loves outdoor activities – taking hikes, going biking, rowing, and golfing. She can also be found traveling and camping with her husband and their dog, Kona.

Dr. Colles is from Dublin and is a tried and true Buckeye, receiving both her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Sciences and Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from The Ohio State University. She then spent a year in Youngstown furthering her skills and caring for patients needing both emergency and routine dental care at a Level 1 trauma center, St. Elizabeth’s Youngstown Hospital. Dr. Colles is very committed to her patients' oral health goals and is a current member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Colles enjoys lifting weights at the gym, spending time outside in the park with her rambunctious Golden Retriever named Rogan, and cheering on the Buckeyes and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Dr. Jones is originally from Youngstown, OH, but has been living in Columbus since 2011. She earned both her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from The Ohio State University. Dr. Jones graduated in the top of her dental school class and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.

Dr. Jones is most passionate about getting to know her patients and strives to make dentistry as painless and stress-free as possible. She is extremely committed to providing the highest quality of care in a kind and compassionate environment, and always with a smile.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jones enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants around Columbus, and exercising while watching true crime documentaries. She currently lives in Victorian Village with her boyfriend and their three beloved pets – two cats and a German Shepherd.

DR. LYDIC IS A COLUMBUS NATIVE WHO EARNED HIS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (BS) IN BIOLOGY AT OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY WHERE HE ALSO PLAYED BASEBALL. HE WENT ON TO COMPLETE HIS DOCTORATE OF DENTAL SUGERY DEGREE (DDS) FROM THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY.

DR. LYDIC IS DEEPLY COMMITTED TO ADVANCING HIS TRAINING AND EXPANDING HIS SKILLSET THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION SO HE CAN PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SERVICES TO PATIENTS. HE IS A PROUD MEMBER OF THE OHIO DENTAL ASSOCIATION, AMERICAN ACADEMY OF FACIAL ESTHETICS, ACADEMY OF GENERAL DENTISTRY, AND THE INTERNATIONAL TEAM FOR IMPLANTOLOGY. DR. LYDIC ALSO EARNED HIS FELLOWSHIP AWARD WITH IMPLANT PATHWAY DENTAL IMPLANT CONTINUUM.

OUTSIDE OF DENTISTRY, DR. LYDIC ENJOYS SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS RUNNING AND HIKING OR HEADING TO THE LAKE WITH HIS GOLDEN RETRIEVER, MAISY.

Dr. Craig is originally from Chicora, PA but has spent her higher education becoming an honorary Buckeye. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Biology from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State University. Following graduation, she dedicated a year to advancing her education at Prisma Health Richland, a level one trauma center in Columbia, SC. During her year in Columbia completing her General Practice Residency, Dr. Craig received training in Implant placement and IV Sedation.

Dr. Craig takes the time to educate patients about their options, and utilizes her advanced training to provide excellent care for her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

In her free time, Dr. Craig enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling with her husband, Adam.

Dr. Stephanie Lauer was raised in Columbus, having lived in the suburb of Westerville until she attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. At Miami she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology with a minor in Molecular biology. She continued her education at Case Western Reserve University where she obtained her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree and graduated magna cum laude. After Dental school she completed a general practice residency program at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland. Dr Lauer has over 15 years of experience providing dental care in the Columbus area.

She has utilized and continues to improve her skills in the most up to date dental technology allowing her to provide the best care for her patients. When discussing treatment options she always leads with the same advice that she would give a family member.

When not discussing, thinking about or doing dentistry, Dr. Lauer enjoys working out and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Miller's practice philosophy is centered on conservative, highly esthetic, minimally invasive, comprehensive dentistry that utilizes modern technology and techniques. After receiving his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, Dr. Miller obtained his D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to join Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He also received the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Implant Student Award after completion of dental school.

He began his clinical career in the U.S. Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base, MD, where he graduated first in his class. During his residency he became certified in IV sedation, performed research on biomimetic dentistry, and honed his skills by working closely with different specialists. He then served three years as a dentist at Altus Air Force Base, OK. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Miller now lives in Columbus with his wife, Erin, who is also a dentist. In his free time, he loves to cook, bake sourdough, play pickleball, cheer on OSU football, and participate in all of the amazing events that the area has to offer. He and Erin enjoy wearing out their high-energy dog, Annie.
